Feel free to forage for food

Fancy a free meal? Dams to Darnley countryside rangers will be leading a foraging session this week - and hunting out natural delicacies.

The event will focus on spring and summer plants worthy of your plate, as well as one or two recipes to try at home with your new-found wild produce.

The wild forage is on Sunday, 10am-12.30pm, and follows an afternoon of plug planting and pond dipping on Saturday, noon until 3pm at Darnley Mill.

As always, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Both events are free, but booking is recommended on 577 4053 or [email protected].
