Overall winner of the blue race for people who do not live in the designated area and therefore not eligible for the hose, was Luke Floss, with Andrew Lawler in second place, Jonathan Kennedy third and Alick Walkingshaw fourth. First woman was Mhari Inglis.

Heather Brewster, president of the Agricultural Society Committee, said: “The entry was up on last year which was grand; it helps to keep the race active.”
