Fire at Clarkston Toll
MOTORISTS were diverted at Clarkston Toll yesterday due to a fire at a house on Eastwoodmains Road.
Firefighters from Clarkston and Castlemilk were called to the scene at 3.30pm, amd discovered an electrical junction box on fire.
The two appliances extinguished the fire using dry powder, but the road remained closed as Scottish Gas was called in over a ruptured gas pipe.
