‘Flutter’ along to a fascinating talk about butterflies

The next lecture for the Bearsden and Milngavie Members’ Centre of the National Trust for Scotland will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 7.30pm in Milngavie Town Hall.

This will be a fascinating, colourful talk about Scottish Butterflies by expert Richard Sutcliffe, who is Research Manager with Glasgow Life.

In his spare time, he is an active member of the local branch of Butterfly Conservation, and has served on the committee in various roles, notably as local butterfly recorder. He is one of the main authors of Butterflies of South West Scotland, published in 2006. He was awarded the Marsh Lepidoptera Lifetime Achievement Award for his voluntary work in 2013. This talk is a must for all nature lovers.
