Flying visit to Carnwath by Santa 2013 Slideshow

SANTA paid a pre-Christmas flying visit to Carnwath during an event organised by many of the local community groups.

“It showed partnership working,” said Angus Knox, chairman of The Uthie and the Development Trust, which organised it with Carnwath Community Youth Club, Parent Council and West End Fundraising Committee.

Other organisations helped on the day and The Robertson Arms Hotel stepped forward with sponsorship.

“It is said that Carnwath is a difficult place for people to work together – I think we have put that to bed,” added Angus. “This was to build community spirit.”
