Freya’s Fabulous fundraiser being held this weekend

The family of a brave little girl who is recovering from a brain tumour has organised a fundraising event this Saturday (August 17).

Three-year-old Freya Cairney was initially diagnosed with epilepsy after months of feeling unwell. But her mum Melanie and gran Caroline were convinced that there was something else wrong with the youngster.

Thankfully, Freya is now recovering at her home in Lennoxtown.

Her mum Melanie has organised ‘Freya’s Fabulous Fundraiser’ on Saturday at Campsie Memorial Hall, in Lennoxtown, from 1.30pm-4pm.

There will be lots of fun activities, including a bouncy castle, tombola, fire engine, Dingley Dell Pets, and lots more.
