Welcoming the patter of tiny feet - by Jackie Mitchell

I’M pleased to say we’re expecting the patter of tiny feet in our household. Well, virtual feet; virtual furry feet to be exact.

I was stopped by people from Guide Dogs in the Antonine Centre last week, and soon found myself oohing and ahhing over the option of sponsoring a puppy, and the difficult choice between two little corkers. Stuck in the midst of indecision, I took the option of mystery puppy C.

In around six weeks time little C will write to me to introduce himself and over the course of his two year training period he will send me a poster, a calendar and regular ‘pupdates’ on his progress. Given it takes £37,000 to take a guide dog through training I am more than happy to play my small part in making it happen.
