From the White House to Motherwell

A choir that has performed with Gary Barlow and Ellie Goulding, and even in the White House and the Sydney Opera House, has a date at a Motherwell church this month.

The African Children's Choir will pefrorm in Motherwell on May 28.

The African Children’s Choir will take to the stage at Motherwell South Parish Church on Saturday, May 28 as part of their 2016 UK tour.

The children come from different countries in Africa and many of them have been orphaned due to civil war or disease.

As a result of their circumstances the children have been taken into care by the choir and looked after.

During their time in the town, the children will be staying with host families in Motherwell.
