The popular festival returned for another year to entertain families who descended to areas in the gardens of Colzium House on Saturday, May 25, to engage in a wide range of activities.

And the best part of the day was the scorching unexpected scorching temperatures.

The event offered plenty of fun for all the family with attractions including fun fair rides, a model railway, face painting, pony rides and stalls.

Dance crews also got the chance to show off their moves at the event whilst many gathered to catch the musical performances on offer.

A highlight was a performance from George Bowie who took to the decks to give Kilsyth a taste of the GBX experience.

Other DJs also played at the event including Ian McNab, Jack Eye Jones, Bryan Love Silky and many more.

The organisers of the event said on its official Facebook page, “Well that is C In The Park over with for another year.

“Such a great day was had and we’d like to thank each and everyone of you for you support.

“We tried so hard to make sure everyone had a great day out. We hope that happened.

“Our volunteers were amazing and it could not have taken place without you.

“We are eternally grateful to you all.”

Proceeds raised from the event, which are still being tallied up, were to be split between two charities - Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.
