Amy Callaghan, SNP MP for East Dunbartonshire, is visiting the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute to see how Glasgow scientists are playing their part in to beat cancer. Amy was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2011 and has been cancer-free since 2014, so her visit is a poignant moment as she gets to see up close the kind of scientific research that saves lives like hers from cancer.
