Gala Day fun in the sun in Bishopbriggs

The sun was shining down on Bishopbriggs Gala Day on Saturday for a feast of family fun.

Hundreds of people flocked to the popular event organised by Bishopbriggs Community Council.

It was a special day for Gala Queen Evie Dolan and princesses Carla Galanti and Pria Virdi.

Children were able to enjoy traditional games including kerby and drawing with chalk as part of a Street Play festival with a section of Brackenbrae Road closed off.
