GALA SET FAIR FOR SATURDAY

Cumbernauld town centre will see itself converted into a free fiesta of fun on Fair Saturday when the highlight of the town’s social calendar kicks off in style.

And if the predicted heatwave is here to stay, this year’s Cumbernauld Gala Day could be the hottest event in its history.

After a year of planning, Cumbernauld Gala Day will kick off at 11am with its trademark procession which snakes its way from Fleming House to Central Way and back down Tryst Road.

The main base of operations will be outside New Town Hall and the venue will also act as a pit stop for those seeking refreshments.
