Gang attack outside high school in Govanhill

A 24-year-old man was left with head injuries after being attacked by a gang of men outside Holyrood High School at around 5.30pm on Thursday, February 1.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a head injury.

Five Police cars attended the scene and a helicopter was also in the area.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 24-year-old man was attacked by a gang of men. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a head injury.

“Our enquiries are ongoing.”
