The youngsters wrote to supermarkets received welcome donations from Sainsbury’s in Darnley and Morrisons, Giffnock. They then worked alongside teachers and the school janitor, Mr Campbell, to create a vegetable patch, fairy garden and squirrel garden.
Guests attended a grand garden opening last Thursday, and one pupil commented: “I have two favourite parts; the fairy door because it’s so cute, and the wacky welly wall.”
