Glasgow Clyde College students Jennifer Gillies and Shona Dobie, from Newton Mearns, and Helen Pickering, from Battlefield, were all chosen to produce items for the Perspective in Gold exhibition.

The trio are studying for an HND in jewellery and silversmithing, and works from each are on display at the westend museum until Sunday (May 4), thanks to sponsorshop from the Scottish Goldsmiths Trust.

Malcolm Chapman, head of collections management, said: “I’m so impressed with the works the students have submitted. They are stunning pieces and go way beyond what we would expect to see from HND courses — in fact, some of them would not be out of place alongside contemporary works in the main Scottish Gold exhibition.”
