Golden Wedding couples invited to join council’s celebrations

EVERY couple in Lanarkshire celebrating their Golden Wedding this year is being invited along to the county’s annual celebrations.

The Provosts of South and North Lanarkshire Councils are hosting two receptions, on Wednesday, October 22, and Thursday, October 23, for Lanarkshire couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The 2014 Golden Weddings events will take place in the Banqueting Hall in South Lanarkshire Council’s headquarters in Hamilton.

So if you live in Lanarkshire and 2014 is your Golden Wedding year, email South Lanarkshire Council or write to Golden Weddings, Administration Services, Floor 2, Council Headquarters, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA.

Include your name, address and contact telephone number and a photocopy of your marriage certificate.
