Greenhouse cafe project's first meeting is judged a huge success

The project, which employs adults with support needs, provides training in the hospitality industry, but also ensures integration with other groups of people allowing for improving and enhancing social skills.

And last week, the cafe management team held their first meeting for elderly residents in the area to meet up for a cuppa, and to discuss ideas for groups, allowing those who may be socially isolated to get together for group projects.

A large number of people turned up for the inaugural meeting, which was so successful, that the cafe are holding the next one tomorrow (Tuesday, April 4) at 11am.
