Have your say on local plans

The draft document – Natural Environment - gives further information and detail on policies set out in the proposed East Dunbartonshire Local Development Plan (LDP).

When approved, the guidance will be used to help determine planning applications.

Comments can be made on the online comments form between now and January 11 (and copies are available at council commmunity hubs and libraries).

Comments can be posted to Land Planning Policy Team, East Dunbartonshire Council, Southbank House, 1 Strathkelvin Place, Kirkintilloch, G66 1XH.

Development and regeneration convener Councillor Alan Moir said: “I hope as many people as possible take the opportunity to view the guidance and provide feedback.

“The guidance will help applicants and the public understand the council’s expectations and requirements for protecting and enhancing landscape character and nature conservation in new developments, and how this will be

done.”
