Have your say on local services

Parents of youngsters with additional support needs are invited to join support groups to help shape local services in Barrhead.

East Renfrewshire Council’s community engagement team are appealing to young people who have additional support needs and would like to have their say in how local services are delivered.

A meeting for parents and carers of children aged 0-12 with additional support needs is happening on both Thursday, June 4 from 10am to 12pm and Wednesday 10 June from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Barrhead Museum.

This session will discuss ideas for ASN friendly children’s groups and activities.

The Carer’s Centre will host the inclusive support team and the community engagement team to meet with people and discuss what kind of services they would like to access, any barriers they need support to overcome, and the sort of services the community would like help to set up themselves, on Tuesday, June 9.

This also takes place at Barrhead Museum.
