Head to Barrhead for Gaelic taster

A TASTER session aimed at beginners interested in learning Gaelic begins this week.

The introductory session takes place at Carlibar primary, Barrhead, tomorrow (Wednesday), from 7-8.30pm, ahead of regular classes resuming in September.

Beginners will learn more about the Gaelic alphabet and similarities between Gaelic and English words - as well as finding out more about the weekly classes, running at beginner, lower intermediate, higher intermediate and advanced levels.
