Mildred Ross, who worked at Marks and Spencers in Newton Mearns for more than 10 years, died at the age of 48 in March last year, as a result of an asthma attack.
Now, her devestated colleagues are putting all their efforts into raising money for charity in her honour.

In the time since Mildred’s passing, her former co-workers have raised £3,000 for Asthma UK.
“It was such a shock, nobody even knew she has asthma,” said co-worker Charlotte Campbell (21).
“She always seemed so healthy. It was all very sudden.
“We were all absolutely heartbroken when they found out what happened — that is why everybody at the store wanted to support the charity in any way possible.”
Claire Crews (31) who also works in the store, added: “She was such a kind, generous person who would help out anybody who needed it.

“She was so in love with her daughters and talked about them all the time.
“One day, after I moved into a new flat, she came in with a big bag of things for my new home — that’s the type of person Mildred was.”
Among the fundraising team’s efforts are a pub quiz, bring and buy sale, several raffles and a disco.
Charlotte added: “We are glad something good could some out of something so tragic. We hope the money will help others.”
