Help on handfor tax debts
Council Direct has launched a new service for Scottish local authorities.
The organisation will support leaders of local authorities who are juggling debt and shortfalls in their council tax collections.
It can improve collections by providing free advice and mediation services to residents struggling financially - helping them to avoid sinking in to further debt.
