Hen harrier found shot at Daer

A hen harrier, a bird of prey, has been found shot near Daer Reservoir in Clydesdale

The dead Hen Harrier was found on remote moorland near the reservoir on Monday April 27, but it was only when tests were carried out that it was discovered the bird had been shot.

That was reported to Police Scotland by RSPB Scotland on Wednesday August 5, and police are currently carrying out enquiries.
