Hop along for a truly eggscellent day out

The local Cats Protection Adoption Centre are holding an Easter Egg-stravaganza on Monday, April 6, from 12noon until 3pm.

It promises to be a fun-filled day out for all the family.

Enjoy eggs-cellent Easter egg hunts in the grounds at Langmuirhead Road, in Kirkintilloch, and egg and spoon races with prizes.

Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care will also be there with some rabbits looking for homes, and you get to meet all the furry felines that are available for adoption too.

There will also be a tea room and stalls selling a variety of items from bric-a-brac to home baking.

A Cats Protection volunteer said: “Make sure you are there early so you don’t miss out.

“We can’t wait to see you there for a day of chocolate and cats. All the money made will go towards helping the cats in our care. So get hopping.”
