Next weekend the countryside rangers at Dams to Darnley country park have arranged a sunrise dawn chorus walk.

They are asking people to come along for 5am and spend two hours experiencing the sights and sounds for what they say is a ‘never to be forgotten’ time with nature.

Although the walk is free, the rangers are asking that interested folk book in advance: call them on 0141 577 4053/4054 or e-mail them at [email protected].

The rangers advise that folk wear suitable clothhing for the walk and bring binoculars, if they have them.
