Kilsyth Academy pupils setting off to Rwanda

Next Wednesday (June 17) a group of 20 pupils and staff from Kilsyth Academy will once again set off on a mercy mission to genicide-scarred Rwanda.

They will help build housing during the trip, which is being organised by the charity Comfort Rwanda.
There is still time to donate tools to this expedition, the dropoff point is Cafe Refresh in Kilsyth Main Street. They are looking for tools suitable for welding, carpentry, electrical work, car maintenance or construction.
Calum Henderson of Comfort Rwanda said: “Any and all donations are gratefully received, and our thanks to Cafe Refresh for agreeing to act as the dropoff point.”
