Kirkfieldbank roadworks start today

Essential upgrading work is to be carried out at Dublin Bridge, Kirkfieldbank, for three weeks.

The work will include the installation of high containment kerbing and other bridge improvements.

Lane closures using temporary traffic lights will be in place to allow pedestrian and vehicular access while the work goes on.

Chair of South Lanarkshire Council’s Enterprise Services Committee, Councillor Chris Thompson, said: “These works are essential. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
