Lanark are champion of champions!

Lanark and District Pipe Band rounded off a fantastic season at the World Championships on Saturday by being placed 4th out of 58 Bands and securing promotion by winning the Band and Drum Corps Champion of Champions.

They will now go to Cowal Games at the end of the month as the reigning Grade 4B Scottish, British and European Champions.

Pipe Major Davie Murdoch and Leading Drummer Jamie Green explained that it was all the hard work over the winter and consistent performances that had ensured their great season.

It was even more remarkable because for some of the members this had been their first year competing.

They would like to thank all the Band members and supporters who played their part in making it happen.
