Lanark Grammar charity total is £2400 and rising

After a successful and fun charity week Lanark Grammar pupils have raised around £2,400 – and they are still counting.

“It brought the whole school community together and it was great to see all the teachers and pupils involved in the week!” said Robyn Patrick, one of the organisers.

This year’s chosen charity is YoungMinds UK which supports young people with mental health problems.

Activities included a Tug of War, a Battle of the Ages with female 6th year pupils taking on teachers on the football pitch, Beat the Goalie and hula-hooping competitions, a crazy hair day, the chance for pupils to soak or gunge the teachers, and a concert with a Generation Game challenge!
