Lanark grandmother Phyllis Weir backs new bowel cancer campaign
A LANARK grandmother has described how she felt after being diagnosed with bowel cancer following a routine bowel cancer screening test.
Phyllis Weir was speaking as the Scottish Government launches a new campaign urging people to take a screening test before its too late.
Phyllis had no symptoms before her diagnosis but decided to complete the test she received in the post as several people close to her had been affected by other types of cancer.
