Lanark lass is All-Scotland Irish dance champion
Young Eva Carragher has won the All-Scottish Championship in Irish dancing in her age group, and will now represent Scotland in the World Championships in Ireland later this month.
“It is fantastic,” said mum Tara.
Eva (10), a pupil at St Mary’s Primary has been dancing for five years.
“She has been winning championships since she was eight.
“This is the All-Scotland Championship and it is very prestigious. For a wee girl from Lanark to win it, is fantastic.
“We are all delighted for her - she puts in a lot of work!”
