Lanark Primary Scottish Evening 2013 Slideshow

A WIDE range of poetry, from Wee Willie Winkie to Address To A Haggis by Robert Burns, was impressively recited by Lanark Primary pupils at the school’s annual Scottish Evening.

Pupils from P1 to P7 had previously learned the poems during a three-week school project, with the top three from each class performing the recitals in front of a crowd of over 200 parents and friends at Lanark Grammar.

Head teacher Margaret Scott said: “There was a fantastic atmosphere and those watching were very proud.”
