Lanark Vision to be explained at Memo Hall meeting

The meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall on Monday, March 2, at 5.30pm, to discuss the action plan entitled Lanark Vision.

Sylvia Russell, who chairs the Lanark Community Development Trust, stressed this week that the meeting was open to all businesses, not just those in Lanark Business Group.

“We want to let everyone have a chance to come along and hear what the plans are,” she said.

Business Group meetings usually take place in the Clydesdale Inn but Monday’s meeting is in the Memorial Hall in the hope of encouraging more people along.

Sylvia said: “We are hoping to target other businesses: hotels, pubs and others not currently in the group.”
