Lanark’s Remembrance Day Parade - video
THERE was a huge turnout of Lanark’s local organisations and ordinary members of the public to honour the memory of the fallen, on Sunday, Remembrance Day.
Following a service in St Nicholas Church, congregation members and others fell in behind the pipe band for the short procession in the sunshine up to the Memorial Hall.
After a brief service outside in St Leonard Street, some 15 wreaths were laid in the entrance to the hall, where the names of the fallen are displayed.
