The awards are open to businesses of all sizes, in all sectors operating in Lanarkshire. The range of award categories - including the Family Business Award and Excellence in Customer Service - has been designed to be fully accessible to all businesses. It is free to apply and companies can apply for as many of the ten categories as they wish.

The awards, which are hosted by North and South Lanarkshire Councils, attract high profile industry support and this year is no different with Clydesdale Bank as principal sponsor.

Simon Kerr of Clydesdale Bank commented: “Local businesses are a vital part of our economy, as well as the foundations of our communities. The Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards offers a unique opportunity for your business to showcase the hard work, dedication and success that you’ve built. We’d like to encourage entries from all businesses across Lanarkshire, and look forward to celebrating your achievements at
the awards.”

Councillor David Fagan, Convener of Regeneration and Infrastructure at North Lanarkshire Council said: “We are delighted to have such high profile support for the 2016 awards, including Clydesdale Bank as principal sponsor. I would like to thank all the sponsors for their support.
