It is part of a ten-race series which has been organised by top UK magazine, Women’s Running. The magazine inspires, motivates and encourages women to start or improve their running.

Christina Macdonald, editor of Women’s Running Magazine says: ‘If you’ve made a New Year’s Resolution to be more active this year, then the Women’s Running 10k is a great event to aim for this summer to keep you motivated and on track with your fitness.

“Similarly, the race is ideal for regular runners looking to improve their personal best time, and a great stepping stone event for those who have got a place in an autumn marathon or half marathon.

Early bird entries are priced at £24 with group entries even lower. For more information, top training tips and to enter, go to www.wr10k.co.uk.
