“There will be queues, particularly at busy periods such as the middle of the day, and I would advise patrons to choose a quieter period or attend in the evening — Kelvingrove will be open until 8pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“We would advise visitors to think about coming to the museum using public transport or park at the nearby Kelvin Hall or at the Riverside Museum as the car park at Kelvingrove is very busy.

“We have managed to accommodate everyone hoping to catch a glimpse of the exhibition and will work to ensure everyone can see this record-breaking show in its final weekend.”

The exhibition attracted some 11,054 visitors during its opening 10 days.
