A NUMBER of items have been stolen from a garage lock-up in Cumbernauld.

Three bicycles and a number of golf clubs were taken from the garage lock-up on Arran Drive between 5pm on Saturday, January 19, and 1pm the next day.

Police say the door lock was forced open during the incident.

DIESEL was stolen from a company in Moodiesburn sometime between 5pm on Friday, January 18, and 6.45am the following day.

Thieves broke into JB Transport in Bridge End Crescent by removing a padlock.

A FOUR-FIGURE sum of cash has been nicked from a Kilsyth takeaway.

Dillon Fast Foods, on West Burnside Street, was broken into between 1.30am and 4.55am on Sunday, January 20.

Police say crooks entered through a door of the premises before stealing the cash and making off.

The shopkeeper was made aware due to the intruder alarm activation.
