All participants had a “quacking” day at an event which saw 514 plastic ducks sold and then released for a race down the Elvan Water.

“The duck race was very successful despite the weather,” said Gala Day committee member Sue Roberts.

The race raised £500 towards the gala day, on Saturday, August 10.
