Gifted by local company Macform Ltd, the office was exactly what the charity needed to continue its outstanding work trying to make dreams happen for children with life threatening illness by giving them the chance to meet their heroes.

The next target for the Foundation is to raise £50,000 to provide a permanent holiday home at a caravan park in Ayrshire.

The Foundation’s dream co-ordinator Angela Cook said: “So far we have raised around £14,000 and we recently received a £5,000 donation from William Grants Distillery which will go towards that.

“We have also been named as Dobbies Sandyholm’s local charity of the year which is a fantastic honour.

“The caravan will give these children and their families an opportunity to have a family break and we are hopeful that by this time next year we will be able to offer that to them.”
