Library book reviewers wanted

Launching the Spring Book Review competition, a spokesman said: “We are looking for people to make a critique on books that they have read and borrowed from our library.

“Each entry must include an item number from the community library – this is a long number beginning with “C” usually found with a bar code near to the paper stamped with dates at the beginning of the book.”

The competition closes on Monday, June 1, and all entries must be in Pollokshields library by the close of business that day.

Any group or school planning to submit a batch of reviews together should also also mark their entries with contact details.

Entries should have the participant’s library card number.
