Life starts at 50 for Voluntary Action East Ren

The over 50s computer club offers a chance to get connected and learn how to use that new tablet or laptop.

The workshop runs from Friday (January 10) 1-3.30pm at UnderCOVER in Barrhead, and computers will be made available to those who need one.

There’s also an over 50s reminiscence group starting up at the Barrhead centre.

Whether its the 1950s, cinema, theatre or local history, the group will be covering it all with the help of items from the Glasgow Open Museum.

The first meeting takes place on January 16, 1-3pm, and refreshments will be provided.

There’s also a craft workshop, running every second Wednesday from next week (January 15) 10am-12noon.
