Local CAB welcomes funding protection
WE’RE STAYING: MP Gregg McClymont MP has met staff at Cumbernauld and Kilsyth’s Citizen’s Advice Bureau to celebrate the news that it’s council funding has been protected.
Gregg and Councillor Stephanie Muir (pictured with staff) took up the CAB’s case for protected funding in the council’s budget discussions.
Gregg said: “Ian Eadie and his team at the CAB provide a first-class service to the community.
“Their expertise and dedications is vital, especially with the implications of changes to the welfare system beginning to hit.”
