There will be two very special guests at this year's Rouken Glen Garden Centre Christmas Night.

Because as well as the man without whom no Christmas celebration would be complete, guests will also be treated to a live performance from none other than Adele.

Adele Leavey, that is. She works in the centre’s café, but she’s also a talented singer. She’ll be entertaining guests with Christmas classics and covers of crooners like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and many more.

Santa will be waiting to welcome kids to the centre’s winter wonderland, and will be around all night, taking gift requests and posing for pictures with his little fans.

And if that’s not enough, there’ll also be a Christmas-themed finger buffet, special food tasting sessions, mulled wine and competitions with great prizes, plus 20 per cent off purchases on the night.

The dates have just been announced as November 2 and 15, and the nights run from 5-9pm.

As ever, the centre will be offering every imaginable kind of Christmas decoration, real and artificial trees, and gifts for everyone from the keenest of gardeners to the most fastidious foodie.

Even pets aren’t forgotten. There’s an enormous range of gifts for faithful friends, whether they’re furred, feathered or finned. There’s also enough feeders and foods to keep wild birds happy all winter long.

Aslam Sheikh, the centre’s owner, said: “It’s no secret that we love Christmas. We’re well known for it. And we like to share that feeling with our friends and customers.

“These nights are a chance to give something back. We look forward to welcoming our guests, and to giving them a good time while they get their shopping done.

“It’s a really popular event, so we’d suggest that anyone who’d like to come along should get their tickets next time they’re in. We always do our best to welcome every guest, but buying your ticket in advance is a sure way to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets are on sale at the Centre’s customer service desk, priced at just £4 for adults and £2 for under-10s. They’re expected to sell quickly, so don’t forget to grab yours.
