Long service award for Elizabeth
A WOMAN who has dedicated 28 years to the Boys’ Brigade has been recognised for her long service.
Lieutenant Elizabeth Weir, from Lenzie, is responsible for the 1st Condorrat Boys’ Brigade anchor boys section.
Captain Andrew Eadie said: “Elizabeth has looked after the anchors section for 28 years and in this day and age, that is rare.
“She is so committed to the role, she stays in Lenzie and travels through.”
