Mac and cheese is pigging good

It was a tight fight for the mac and cheese cup, but newcomer The Butterfly and the Pig clinched it at this year’s Pastaval.

Part of the Southside Fringe, the mac and cheese-off saw five southside venues go head to head for the cup.

Organiser and food blogger Emma Mykytyn said: “It was great see people from the southside and beyond visiting Shawlands.It was a tight competition but we can only have one winner.”
