Maddison draws her way to first place

The youngster (6) entered a competition run by East Renfrewshire Council’s housing service, encouraging young people to draw a picture of the kind of house they would like to live in.

Maddison’s colourful entry was chosen as the winner out of more than 70 submitted entries.

She is pictured with Suzanne Conlin, senior housing officer, receiving her prize — £50 worth of Lego vouchers.
