Mammoth quiz returns for a good cause

The popular event takes place on Thursday, February 27, from 9pm, and everyone is welcome — team entry by donation.

Diane Brooks, of the committee, told The Extra: “There will be the usual fantastic raffle with loads of fabulous prizes and, of course, the winners will have the prestige of winning the Mammoth Quiz.

Once again, the Swan Pub Eaglesham is the main sponsor behind this year’s big event, and, after last year’s quiz raised nearly £110, it’s hoped this year will be even bigger and better.”

All the money raised will go to the cancer charity, to fund medical services and provide financial support for cancer patients in need.
