Man arrested in connection with death of Owen Hassan

A 29 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Owen Hassan.

On Wednesday, November 7, emergency services responded to reports of a man having been assaulted in Greenview Street, Shawlands.

Owen (30) was found with serious injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a very short time after admission.

The man is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Friday 21 December).

A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
