Man dies in M74 crash
POLICE have confirmed that a 60-year-old man died following a road crash on the M74 this morning.
At approximately 6.20am officers were called to a report of a road crash on northbound carriageway between Larkhall and Hamilton.
The motorway was closed to all northbound traffic between Junction 8 and Junction 6 for a number of hours resulting in long tailbacks for commuters coming in and out of Clydesdale.
